AQR is delighted to announce the Winner of the AQR Prosper Riley-Smith Qualitative Effectiveness Award 2013: Sarah Jenkins, (Ipsos MORI) for "Does constant snacking prevent real hunger? Understanding cross platform needs in News consumption".
In order to evaluate and optimise the multi-platform environment of BBC News consumption Sarah and her team adopted the StoryBoard approach. This insightful, cost effective, face to face, time efficient research has had far reaching impact on Editors, Programme Commissioners, Managers and Correspondents on how news is delivered to a news-hungry audience throughout the day.
Judge's Comments
Qualitative Effectiveness is also about getting buy-in from all the Stakeholders. This year's winner even had BBC Correspondents taking notice.
