Qual Heroes

In 2020, the AQR is celebrating our 40th year of championing qualitative excellence. That's quite the milestone. We want to take this opportunity to give a shout out to our qual heroes.

Think about the people who help and inspire you to be better everyday or who help you get the job done brilliantly. They could be current or past bosses, colleagues or mentors. They could work in fieldwork agencies, recruit your participants or be people who create and manage the digital tools we use. They could be the specialists, writers, planners, designers or editors who make your work sing. They could, of course, be your clients.

If they’re your qual hero, this is your chance to celebrate them.

We’d like to showcase at least 40 qual heroes over the course of 2020. They’ll be celebrated on AQR’s social media (LinkedIn and Twitter) and you’ll get a mention for nominating them too.

So what do we need you to do?
Send an email to info@aqr.org.uk and make sure you put ‘qual hero nomination’ in the subject header. Please send us a very short and sharp summary (no more than 15 words) summarising why they’re your hero. This will be the citation that appears on social media along with their name and company (and yours).

Make sure you include their name, email address and company, as well as yours. Their email address will only be used by the AQR team to let them know they’ve been nominated and get their permission.
You can nominate more than 1 person but please no more than 3.

The deadline is Monday 9th December. Which is also the day of our Christmas Drinks…don’t forget to RSVP to that!

If we get a bazillion entries we’ll just have to have one of those deeply scientific ’names in the hat’ sessions. If the same person gets nominated more than once we’ll try and mention all of you. Oh, and there’s no need to nominate the AQR team. We promise they won’t go unmentioned.

Get nominating, your heroes are waiting.
