Breakfast Bites Quant for Quallies 25 July

***FULLY BOOKED*** Announcing.... Quant for Quallies: Demystifying the World of Quant

Everything you ever wanted to know about quant but were afraid to ask

Tuesday 25th July; 8.30am-10.30am

Net Promoter Scores and Link Testing got you in a spin?

Even the most committed Quallie can’t avoid quantitative research completely because it’s part of the client’s world. It can seem like a different planet, full of products and jargon. Sometimes it’s difficult to get your head around it all!

Whether you work with Quanties in your day to day, or just want to make sure you’re looking savvy and informed in front of your client (and your boss!)…

Breakfast bites is here to help!

This session will give you an insight into the world of quant. We’ll take you through a day in the life and look at some typical approaches, methodologies and terminology. We’ll also be guiding you through how to spot whether quant or qual is required when looking at a client brief, and you’ll get the chance to have a go yourself.

The session will also include a Q&A with an experienced quant/qual researcher, so this is your chance to get answers to all those tricky quant questions you’ve been afraid to ask.

You’ll leave the room with confidence and knowledge you can apply from briefing meeting to final debrief. Whilst aimed at those with 0-4 years’ experience, all are welcome!

It will be run by Katie Hawkins, a qual and quant researcher at the Nursery Research and Planning. Katie gained 12 years’ experience as a quant researcher in both London and New York before deciding she wanted to try her hand at qual. She now works across both disciplines, splitting her time between groups and graphs, teledepths and tab specs.

With plenty of experience across qual and quant, Katie is perfectly placed to open up the world of numbers and charts to those of us who can’t tell a pie from a pie chart!

Spaces are limited to 15, so make sure you sign up as soon as you can to avoid disappointment! (Please note - this also means we can only accept a maximum of 2 delegates per company).

As we believe this session will be very popular and places are limited to 15, AQR members have the chance to book first.

Cost for AQR Members (all membership is individual not corporate):
£30 + VAT = £36

Bookings will open for non members on Wednesday 5 July if places are still available.
Cost for non members: £50 + VAT = £60
