Insight Sensemaking: Core analysis and interpretation

*** FROM INFORMATION OVERLOAD AND GETTING LOST DOWN RABBIT HOLES, TO COMPELLING AND CONFIDENT INSIGHT ANALYSIS.

FOR RESEARCHERS WITH 0-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WHO ARE CURRENTLY OVERWHELMED AND LOOKING FOR A SENSEMAKING ROADMAP THAT WORKS.

This is a one-day course with a hands-on approach, designed to help you conduct great analysis and get a compelling insight story. You will make progress in the room on live projects and take-away key frameworks to enable you to replicate when you are back at work. In preparation, you will be asked to come along armed with a recent project that you have worked on. This will form the basis of the practical tasks on the day.

After attending this session, we expect you to be able to:

  • Apply the analysis frameworks to take you from volumes of output to a meaningful evidence-based argument and recommendation
  • Feel confident in your ability to let go of superfluous information in order to reduce the information noise, manage complex messaging and inject meaning into your outputs
  • Trial new approaches with upcoming project debriefs and optimize new ways of working to consistently deliver sensemaking reports and presentations

You will be given mini-team coaching and constructive feedback from our tutors and your peers to help you get a solid story in place to share with your team and your clients.

THIS COURSE WILL BE LED BY CAROLINE FLORENCE, INSIGHT NARRATOR. Caroline has over 15 years of experience in the research industry and has been training researchers in communication skills and insight generation for the last seven years.

Caroline will be supported by two experienced tutors
