AQR Behavioural Science Masterclass

This session is aimed at mid-level to advanced qualitative practitioners wishing to expand their understanding and application of behavioural science within research projects.

Interventions, nudges and impacts may hog the behavioural science limelight but at its core, behavioural science is about understanding human behaviour at a much deeper level

This masterclass will enable you to put scientific theory into practice - equipping you with frameworks that will enable you to unlock richer deeper behavioural insight, and clever ways to structure and articulate recommendations that you give to your clients to unlock growth.

The session will be led by Crawford Hollingworth, global co-founder of The Behavioural Architects (TBA), and Gill O’Hanlon, Managing Partner at TBA. During the session, Crawford and Gill will use theory and case studies to demonstrate that behavioural science is much more than an executional toolkit, but a framework that allows you to structure research more effectively, to look at behaviour more systematically and to unlock insight in a different way. You’ll leave with a new way of approaching consumer understanding, and a model of thinking that can get you even more penetrating insight - whether for comms, brand, innovation or behaviour change challenges.

Crawford is a leading thinker in the application of behavioural science, frequently sharing his expertise on stage at events, and in articles for leading industry publications. He is a fellow of the Marketing Society, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the CMRS.

Gill is a highly experienced qualitative practitioner and strategic advisor, having previously been Head of Qual at the Futures Company before becoming Managing Partner at TBA. She is a former AQR Board member.
