Qual Research Recruitment Checklist
Qualitative recruitment is a process that can make or break a project. This checklist is designed to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible, for the client, researcher, recruiter and respondent. It has been designed as a set of questions which we recommend you ask yourself in the course of the qualitative recruitment process.
In 2011, Alison Starr of Frontline Research approached the AQR with a paper written for the ICG entitled Exploring the Qualitative Recruitment Process. It renewed debate about this whole area, and the resulting comments from both organisations have been fed into this checklist. This user-friendly format, suggested by AQR chair Peter Lovett and pieced together by QRiís Simon Patterson and AQR Honorary Secretary Liz Sykes will, we hope, enable all those involved to develop best practice on a continuing basis.
