InBrief Magazine

A key part of the AQR's remit is to keep members informed on relevant issues and topics. That's why, ever since it was launched, the Association has provided its members with a publication offering regular news and views as part of the membership package. Since the mid-90s, this has taken the form of a bi-monthly magazine called In Brief.

In the main, the publication is written by members for members, but it also encourages contributions from those outside the industry who have views on issues which could impact on the membership. The AQR is an association that encourages its members to 'look outside their box'.

So while each issue will review industry news and events, at home and abroad, its Broader Horizons column may cover topics such as personal growth one month, ethical issues or future gazing the next. Verbatim, meanwhile, offers the opportunity for a rant, and Koi Carp, in the diary slot, tickles the industry's funny bone. In Brief also always features articles on how qualitative research is carried out overseas.
