Facilities

The AQR runs a series of events throughout the year which, like the training programme, is vital to the life of the Association. We use top class venues specifically selected for each event, all of which are easily accessible.

We organise these events to be specific to different target audiences within the membership. These are dedicated to Independent members, New Researchers (those with up to 2 years), Northern members, those who specialise in Field issues and those who conduct International Research. The cost for attendance at these events are kept to an absolute minimum with the aim of breaking even or AQR providing a small subsidy.

We also have events which are aimed at the whole membership and are free for AQR members to attend. These are the Annual Party, the AGM and the Fringe Event at the MRS Conference.
