AQR Spark - Mental Health and Wellbeing

Please join us as we explore mental health and wellbeing in the workplace with Helen Stephens, wellbeing coach and former Research Director at Ipsos MORI.

Results from the 2019 Opinium/MRS study into mental wellbeing in the Research sector make for alarming reading.

A staggering 85% of market researchers report that they have struggled with their mental health in the past year compared to 62% of workers generally across the UK. Yet less than one in four researchers suffering have taken time off for mental ill health compared to one in three in the wider workforce.

Helen Stephens worked in the research industry for 25 years, most recently as a Director with Ipsos MORI. She is now an accredited coach and Mental Health First Aider helping businesses support wellbeing and get the best from their people through transformational coaching and workshops.

Helen will bring in stories from her personal experience in research as she explores some of the contributing factors to the situation we find ourselves in as well as looking at what we can do, as individuals and as leaders, to help avert a mental health crisis in the industry.
