As a newcomer to the research industry I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Journeying into the unknown (well, the Warwick pub in Piccadilly) made it exciting and then daunting as I considered the possibility of small talk and endless industry in-jokes.
Luckily, my first hunch was right thanks to a warm welcome by Kat and Joe, who helped me find a team as well as enjoy the (free) food and drink on offer. A final tiebreaker dashed our hopes for victory but like my teammates, the quiz itself was fun and varied.
Thanks to the Young Unfocused Group for organising the night and an extra thanks to the generous sponsors, Leichliter Associates and Criteria Fieldwork for making the event that bit more special.
