Is There Anybody Out There?

We are facing a crisis in staff recruitment. The last 3 years has left many market research companies understaffed, with dangerously few trained junior and mid-level researchers available, and considerable challenges in finding experienced individuals to fill key senior positions.

Covid kickstarted the trend, followed by the ‘Great Resignation’, and now the growing attraction of going freelance and WFH. But what else is affecting the flow of researchers around the industry? What are the perspectives of employers, headhunters and recruiters? Are agencies briefing them as well as they could? How much do recruiters know of the impact of inappropriate placements on already threadbare businesses? Are they struggling to find people to fill vacancies? Are we, together, reaching diverse pools of talent?

This event aims to answer a single question: looking to the future what can we do to improve the recruitment process?
