AQR Masterclass

Applying COACHING techniques to your conversations to become a more effective manager and leader

The job of a manager and leader is not the same as that of a researcher.
Researchers are across all the detail, we are task completers and expert problems solvers.
Managers and leaders empower and enable others, operate at a strategic level and focus on building relationships.

We are not born managers or leaders, we have to work at it. One of the best tools to support you in this transition is to adopt a coaching mindset and a coaching style of management and leadership.
In true coaching style, the masterclass will be very hands on. There will be some theory, a lot of practice, reflection and action planning that you can take back into your agencies.

Friday, 19th April
10:00am — 12.30pm, London Time, via Zoom

What will you take away from this Masterclass?

  • Understand what coaching is and how it is different from mentoring, counselling and other interventions.
  • Become familiar with the GROW model and other coaching tools that you can use to support and develop your teams and client relationships.
  • Have worked through specific management and leadership problems you are currently facing and come up with new strategies to try.
  • Have built your confidence as a manager and leader.
  • Have met some great new allies, learnt lots about yourself and had fun
