
IR35: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Covering IR35, the Governments latest piece of anti-avoidance tax legislation. Well the good news is that, though it was agreed in the Chancellors budget for roll-out on 6 April 2020, because of the current coronavirus situation it has been put on hold for a year. This gives the industry 12 extra months to work out what to do about a scheme that will impact on freelancers and contractors, medium and large companies, plus rates charged, and to encourage more lobbying against it.
