Database recruitment

Recruitment of participants for market research from a list or database, often supplied by the client. It may also refer to recruitment from a recruiter's own informal list or network of contacts. In the UK, such lists are covered by Data Protection legislation and those holding or using them need to be registered with the Office of Information Commissioner.
