DinnerTime is a new app marketed on the basis that parents can disable their children's phones and tablets from working so they can spend more quality time with them, at the dinner table, for example.
The tech behind the DinnerTime app has uses, but the current marketing is wrong parents should not default to technology to control children. As for adults, disconnecting from the internet should be encouraged. A recent holiday without phone signal and internet access was a breath of fresh air.
