Travelling nationally and internationally offers us quallies the chance to listen to music, watch a film, do some work, or catch some well-earned sleep. I also like to listen to podcasts when I'm out and about.

Movies and TV shows have trails to entice viewers, so why not podcast? Fireside does this job admirably. Users can clip their favourite shows and share the best parts. Here’s to discovery.

Time for adventure

We’ve got a pub next door to work that has legendary status in the office. It has good beers, good ambiance, free comedy every night, and a beer garden. Every so often we try somewhere else, but this is normally after a long conversation that involves a range of suggestions, with excuses for not going to each one. We should be more spontaneous; just leave the office and end up where we end up.

Bar Roulette is a web app that uses the APIs of Uber and Yelp to provide a ride that will take users to a secret location, eg a top-rated bar. Spontaneous drinks here we come.
